Hello! We are Eric and Staci

Hi there,

We’re Eric and Staci, and we’re so thankful for the opportunity to introduce ourselves to you. Our journey to becoming parents has looked a little different than we first imagined. Staci was born with Spina Bifida, and after talking with doctors, we learned that pregnancy would not be safe for her. Even before that news, adoption had already been planted in our hearts. Though we once thought it might come later in life, we now see so clearly that this has been part of God’s plan for us all along — and we couldn’t be more excited.

A little bit about us: Eric is a youth pastor, and Staci is a special education teacher. Our lives are built around caring for and encouraging young people, and we truly believe it’s what we’ve been called to do. If you choose us, your child will grow up in a home filled with unconditional love, joy, laughter, and constant support. We promise to honor their story, celebrate their unique journey, and make sure they always know the deep and selfless love that brought them into our family.

About Us

The Heart of Our Marriage

We’ve been best friends for over ten years and married for five! Our story began in a young adult church group, where a strong and easy friendship naturally blossomed long before we started dating. We built a foundation of trust, laughter, and shared faith that has only grown stronger over time. Our first date—a night filled with good food and the excitement of a hockey game—set the tone for the fun, joy, and deep connection we still share today.

From the very beginning, we’ve been each other’s biggest supporters. No matter what life brings, we lean on each other for everything—encouragement, strength, and lots of laughter in between. We truly believe that friendship is the heart of our marriage, and we are so grateful to walk through life side by side. Whether we’re celebrating big milestones or simply enjoying the quiet, everyday moments, we know we can always count on each other.

Being best friends first has made our marriage strong, steady, and full of joy. We love doing life together—whether it’s tackling challenges, celebrating victories, or simply laughing over the little things. Our friendship keeps us grounded, our faith keeps us united, and our love continues to grow deeper with every season. Building a life and a marriage centered on trust, laughter, and unconditional love has been one of the greatest gifts we’ve ever known.

What We Love Most

Our life together is built around faith, family, and creating a home full of love, joy, and community. We are both incredibly thankful that we get to do what we love every day—Eric serves as a youth pastor, and Staci is a special education teacher. Working with students and families is a huge part of our lives, and serving together through our church has brought us even closer as a couple. Youth ministry holds a special place in our hearts, and we are passionate about helping young people grow in their faith and confidence.

Outside of work, we love spending quality time together. Some of our favorite moments are the simple ones: sitting out on our back porch, swimming in the pool, or hosting friends for meals, and lots of laughter. Our home is often filled with music, good food, and the kind of conversations that stretch late into the evening. We love building a space where everyone feels welcome and loved.

Family is one of the biggest blessings in our life. We are very close with our families and treasure the time we spend with them. Being an aunt and uncle has been such a joy—we love playing, laughing, and making memories with our niece and nephews, and it’s been so special to watch them grow up. They have truly captured our hearts, and we’re excited to see them welcome a new cousin into the family one day.

We have dreamed of becoming parents for a long time, and we are thrilled for the opportunity to grow our family through adoption. We look forward to sharing all the love, laughter, and everyday adventures that fill our lives with a child—creating new memories together rooted in faith, hope, and unconditional love.

Our Family

Traditions are a big part of our life. Every summer, we take an annual trip to the Frio River with family and friends—swimming, laughing, and making memories. At Christmas, we love decorating the house and tree together and making homemade cookies. We can’t wait to share these special moments with a child, creating new memories full of joy, love, and laughter.

Surrounded by Love and Laughter

Family means everything to us, and we both feel incredibly blessed to have such a strong, loving support system surrounding us. Eric’s family is a beautiful mix of siblings—one sister, one brother, a half brother, three stepbrothers, and an adoptive brother—each one playing a meaningful role in his life. Staci has always been close with her brother, Dwayne Jr., and his wife, Kelsey, who feels like a sister. Their two children, Maisy and Tripp, bring so much joy to our lives, and being an aunt and uncle is one of our greatest joys. We spend a lot of time with both sides of our family, celebrating birthdays, sharing everyday moments, and making lasting memories.

Our parents have been some of our biggest supporters throughout the entire adoption journey. Eric’s mom and stepdad live nearby and are a constant source of encouragement and love. His late father’s guidance and support have also played a huge role in shaping who he is today. Staci’s parents, Veda and Dwayne Sr., have been married for over 40 years and set an incredible example of a strong, faith-filled marriage—something we strive to model in our own relationship. We are so grateful for the values they’ve instilled in us: unconditional love, commitment, and putting family first. One of the things we love most is how well our families get along. Holidays, backyard cookouts, and simple get-togethers are filled with laughter, games, and a lot of love. Everyone is excited and supportive of our journey to grow our family through adoption, and we know this child will be welcomed with open arms into a home overflowing with love, support, and a lifetime of family memories.

It’s a place where you can step outside and hear the birds singing, watch the sunset from the back porch, or enjoy a calm evening under the stars.

Our neighborhood is quiet, friendly, and safe—perfect for walks, bike rides, and spending time outdoors. Families look out for one another, and there’s a real sense of community here. We love how calm and comforting it feels, and we can’t wait to share this peaceful life with a child, giving them a safe, happy place to grow and thrive.
