About Us

About Us!

Greg and I have been a couple for 10 years, and we have been married for 6. We hit it off right away! While on a beach vacation, Greg surprised me and got down on one knee. That next year, we got married in New Orleans, surrounded by friends and family. We have so much in common, but we also balance each other. He is very detail-oriented, and I tend to see the big picture. I am more outgoing, and he is a bit more reserved. I often make decisions with my heart and emotions, while he approaches things with a calm, logical mindset. We know each other well—what we like and don’t like, our shared family goals, financial values, faith, and love for sports and hobbies. We respect each other in every way.

About Whitney written by Greg:
Whitney inspires me to be a better man every single day. Her compassion, empathy, and unconditional love are the heartbeat of our family. She leads with grace, uplifts others with kindness, and creates a home filled with warmth and purpose. Her compassion and spontaneity are the perfect complement to my logic and reason. She is strong, humble, and her positive outlook continues to inspire me every day. What makes her truly special is her ability to inspire children to reach their full potential. She doesn’t just teach them, she is a friend and mentor. She inspires them, all while helping them overcome their failures and fueling their successes. Watching her connect with them and guide their growth into the best version of themselves leaves me in awe. Many students come back to visit her when they graduate high school. She leaves a mark and it’s a rare gift. She cherishes every moment spent with our nephew Bo, helping to build his confidence through games that spark his creativity. Whether it’s playing with trucks, imagining airplane adventures, or having fun with playful phone calls, a day with Bo at the local hamburger joint is always filled with joy. Her deep compassion for Bo and her students makes it clear that she will be an incredible, loving mother.

About Greg written by Whitney:
I admire Greg’s strong values. He’s the kind of guy who returns the grocery cart—and even grabs a few others people left behind along the way. He’s a man of his word, works hard at everything he does, and is a true partner in every sense. Greg’s personality is a bit reserved, especially when he’s meeting new people. But once he warms up, he’s funny and witty, with a silly side that I’m lucky to see. He shows his love through his actions—he always follows through and is incredibly supportive, caring, and goal-oriented. He’s also annoyingly good at just about anything he tries, whether it’s a new hobby or a random challenge—and on top of that, he’s very athletic. He’s been my rock and is always there when I need him. Greg will be an amazing father. When I watch him with my nephew, it brings tears to my eyes because I know the kind of dad he will be. He’s incredibly sweet, and I know he’ll be a great example of what a loving husband and father can be for their family. He’s patient, loving, and never sweats the small stuff—which, honestly, is something I need a reminder of sometimes. He leads with kindness in all things.

Our Family

We celebrate holidays with both our families and love creating our own traditions too. At Christmas, we decorate, play music, watch festive movies, and slow down to appreciate the true meaning of the season. We enjoy celebrating birthdays, hosting Thanksgiving, Easter brunch and egg hunts, and summer pool days and cookouts with family and friends. We look forward to sharing these moments with a child, blending traditions, making memories, and watching the wonder in their eyes.

Our Home

Our Home

We feel so grateful to live in a home in a wonderful, family-friendly neighborhood. We live in a one-story, single-family home with four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and an office. One room will be a nursery, and another will be made into a playroom. Our home has a cozy feel, and our favorite part is the backyard. We have a one-acre lot where one portion is gated off for the dogs and pool. The other portion is more wild, and we see all kinds of wildlife. I can picture a treehouse back there one day and a fire pit in the future. We spend a lot of our time either in the backyard or the living room. Outside, you’ll find us swimming, cooking out, listening to music, and throwing a tennis ball for the dogs. We also have two big side yards on either side of the pool for kids to run and play—plenty of room for a trampoline, swing set, or playhouse. We’re close enough to drive just 15 minutes to everything, but far enough out to enjoy quiet, spacious lots, wildlife like deer and roadrunners, and a starry night sky.

Our neighborhood has a nice mix of young families and retired adults. The community hosts fun events like a neighborhood golf cart parade for the Fourth of July, food trucks in the summer, and Halloween parties. Our community also has tennis and pickleball courts, and there’s a great local park just a mile away. We’re surrounded by excellent schools, and I have the flexibility to take our kids with me to any school or district where I teach.
