Hello! We are Will and Caroline, and we are so excited to meet you.

Thank you for your willingness to consider us to take care of your precious child. We can’t imagine the decisions before you, but we can promise that we are honored to connect with you and have the opportunity to share more about our lives and desire to grow our family. Your consideration of adoption is an incredible testament to your strength and love for your baby. We believe in miracles, and it is one that you are here now reading about us.

We hope that this page can give you a little glimpse into our family and home. We are so thankful that after years of infertility and miscarriages, our family was blessed with our daughter Naomi through adoption. We still have an open relationship with her first mom, and we are hopeful to adopt again and for her to have a brother or sister.

About Us

The Story of Us

We met while studying Architectural Engineering at the University of Texas and were friends and study partners long before we started dating. Our first date was on the eve of Will’s 21st
birthday (a secret he kept so I wouldn’t reschedule!) He dressed up in a tie, picked me up in his emerald green Mustang and took me to a little Italian restaurant that remains one of our favorite spots.
After five years of dating and growing together, Will proposed, and we married soon after. We moved into our first home the day after our wedding and adopted Nala, our Golden
Retriever/Great Pyrenees mix, a few months later. Those early years were filled with laughter, home projects, and creating traditions we still cherish.

Our marriage has also been strengthened through hardship. After experiencing seven miscarriages, we grew together as we supported one another through the loss and pain. In 2024, God blessed us through adoption with our daughter, Naomi. She is full of joy, curiosity, and energy, and being her parents is the greatest gift of our lives. Now we look forward with hope to welcome another child and give Naomi a sibling.

We love to spend time as a family

From the start, our relationship has been rooted in friendship, humor, and showing up for each other in the everyday moments. We are opposites in many ways – Will is a night owl, and Caroline is a morning person; Will procrastinates, and Caroline likes to be ahead of a deadline; Will loves to spend time in the moment, and Caroline is constantly planning. We truly complement each other and balance the other’s quirks and strengths. Over the years, we’ve grown through moves, new jobs, joy, and loss, and we’ve learned how to communicate well, laugh often, and support one another through anything.

Our Favorites

We try to do at least one date night per month and try new restaurants or live music.

We enjoy traveling, both to visit our extended family and for vacations to the beach or mountains.

We love spending time with Naomi; watching her personality grow and discovering new things through her eyes is our favorite part of any day.

We like cheering on college sports teams (the Texas Longhorns) and watching games together, especially football.

We enjoy relaxing in our backyard, grilling, and playing with our dog, Nala.

Our weekends are filled doing activities as a family – from visiting the local parks, splashpads, and greenbelt, to frequenting our favorite neighborhood TexMex restaurant.

Our Family

We have a lot of holiday family traditions. One of our favorite traditions is cutting down our Christmas tree. Caroline has done this every year since she was a child, and we have gone together every year of our marriage. Afterwards, we get BBQ on the way home. We also decorate Christmas cookies with Will’s family, and his dad judges the cookies to determine the best. Thanksgiving is another favorite when we walk/run as a family in the Turkey Trot before eating a big meal and watching football.

The Gift of Family

We both come from large, close-knit families. Will has three older sisters spread across Houston and San Francisco, along with five nieces and nephews who are always excited for more cousins. His parents live in Houston, and we see them often for holidays and family trips. Caroline’s family is just as connected—She grew up in Tennessee and remain close with my grandparents, parents, and siblings. Her brother and sister-in-law now live in Connecticut, while her parents and sister live just minutes away, so we get together weekly for board games, hikes, and meals. Both of our families are incredibly supportive and involved, and they are all thrilled to welcome another child into the family.

Things to Know About Us

1. We’ve been together 13 years, and married for 7!
2. We laugh A LOT and don’t take ourselves too seriously.
3. We enjoy going to church as a family and faith is central to our marriage.
4. We support one another, even if that means admitting we are wrong sometimes.

Our Home

This is Home

We’ve loved our house for over seven years—it’s the first home we’ve shared, and it’s full of little projects and big renovations that make it truly ours. The open floorplan connects our living room, dining room, and kitchen, which is where most of our time together happens. Large windows fill the space with sunlight and look out onto our yard, shaded by big pecan trees that drop nuts every fall. Our backyard is one of our favorite spots, with a patio, grill, and a water table to play!

Our neighborhood is a mix of charming older homes and new construction, full of ffamilies and friendly neighbors. We’re just a short walk from churches, schools, and playgrounds with tennis courts, basketball
courts, soccer fields, and recreation centers.
