Austin and Caroline

About Us

Our Story

We met 6.5 years ago through a dating app. Austin was the only person Caroline ever said yes to meeting. We went on our first date the very next day and spent six hours together on that date. That night our waitress mentioned that she was a wedding photographer “just in case we ever needed one”. She was unaware we were on our first date, which made us both laugh, but looking back somehow she knew more than we did.

Since then, we’ve built a life filled with laughter, adventure, and unwavering support for each other. From traveling to new places to simple nights in to concerts and dancing, our favorite time is spent together. We’ve been zip lining in Costa Rica, explored the small towns of Alaska, camped in the Texas Hill Country, and enjoyed beach days in South Padre. We love spending time with our family and friends, and our annual holiday traditions are some of our favorite moments of the year. We got married on January 22, 2022, and can’t wait for the day we get to add the date we become a “mommy and daddy” to our list of anniversaries.

Caroline grew up in a small town in South Florida, and moved to Texas at 11. She is an owner of a ballet studio, where she teaches students ages 3 to 18. Ballet has been a defining part of her life for as long as she can remember. She danced professionally in ballet companies in both the US and Europe, finishing her career in Romania. After retiring, she felt called to open her studio, and there is no doubt that God’s hand has been at work every step of the way. Becoming a mother is a dream she’s carried for as long as she can remember. Her mom is her best friend and has always been a true example of what being a mother means, selfless, kind, and grounded in faith. She can’t wait to live out that example with her own child.

Austin grew up in a small town in North Texas. He grew up living down the street from his cousins who would come over after school making him an acting older brother. His sister was already in college making them the closest thing he had to siblings. Growing up, he played football, basketball, and ran track. He has always enjoyed being part of a team. He graduated from Texas Christian University in 2010, where he is currently employed in the Information Technology Department. Austin’s dad is his best friend and someone who can always make a situation better. His mom is his rock, someone he can lean on for anything.

Our Family

Family traditions are a big part of our lives. Every October we visit a pumpkin patch and carve pumpkins. We can’t wait to add trick-or-treating with cousins. Thanksgiving includes a traditional meal with Austin’s family, meat and chocolate fondue with Caroline’s family, and a special day cooking our favorite dishes together at home. Christmas is spent at Mass and with family, while Christmas morning means hot chocolate and a visit from Santa. Holidays are some of our favorite times of year.

Our Home

“There’s No Place Like Home”

We live in a friendly small Texas town, known for it’s community and excellent schools. Our home is on about a half acre of land with plenty of space for outdoor activities. Our home is a place of warmth, laughter, and joy where music is often playing, meals are cooked and shared, and there is always room for family and friends. The perfect place for raising a child.
We can’t wait for our home to be filled with little footsteps, laughter, bedtime stories, throwing a football in the yard with Grandpa, baseball games with cousins, and all the other traditions we cannot wait to share as a family. Above all, our home is a place where a child will always know they are loved and they belong.
