Same-Day Adoption Help

Need same-day adoption help? Our caring team is ready to assist you

If you’re in a situation where you think you can’t parent your baby, but you are worried that you don’t have enough time to make an adoption plan, we are here to help. There are many reasons why mothers might find themselves needing to make an emergency adoption plan, either before or after their baby is born. In these cases, we can quickly come to you to provide same-day adoption help, so that you can make a plan for your child that will bring you peace of mind.

What is an emergency adoption?

An emergency adoption is an expedited adoption process that empowers a mother to permanently transfer parental rights over her child to parents of her choosing. There are many reasons that a mother might need urgent, same-day adoption help, and they are often related to protecting the child’s safety, health or wellbeing.

  • A Child Protective Services investigation that is likely to result in the child going into the foster care system
  • Incarceration of the parent(s)
  • An environment that is unsafe for the child, including abuse, neglect, or an incapacitated or homeless parent
  • No available family member to care for the child when the parent(s) are unable to do so

If you wish to consider an emergency adoption, a caring options counselor can immediately come to wherever you are, including your bedside at the hospital if you have just given birth. We bring with us all the information you need to learn about the adoption process, as well as our list of waiting families for you to review.

We will not pressure you to make an adoption plan for your child. Instead, we will bring you caring support, same-day adoption help, resources that you may need, and information to help you decide for yourself if adoption is the best choice for you and your child right now.

Compassionate support for a difficult decision

We understand that making a last-minute adoption plan is a heartbreaking situation for a mother. At this difficult time, you can rely on our caring options counselors to listen to your concerns, answer all of your questions, and be there to support you.

Reaching out to us for same-day adoption help does not commit you to placing your child for adoption. Instead, it is a way to learn about your options, so that you can come to a place of peace as you move forward with whatever plan you decide is best for your child.

If you do decide to make an emergency adoption plan, our counseling and legal teams are ready to help you complete the process quickly. We also want to reassure you that you will be in control of the process, every step of the way.

  • You will get to choose your baby’s adoptive parents.
  • You will get to decide what kind of contact you want to have with the adoptive family and your child going forward. Some mothers want to see photos of their child, while others want a higher level of contact, such as phone calls or even visits. If you prefer a closed adoption, we can provide that option, too.
  • If you haven’t yet given birth, you will get to plan every detail of your birth experience, including how much time you wish to spend with your baby at the hospital and who will be with you in the delivery room.

After the baby is born, you must wait 48 hours to sign adoption consents, per Texas state law. You will never have to worry about any expenses associated with the adoption process, as all legal, counseling and other costs will be covered for you.
