Hello! We are Virgil and Kelly, and we are grateful for the time you’re taking to learn about us. We admire you so much for choosing life and for considering adoption, and we are deeply moved by the possibility of becoming parents of your child through adoption. Virgil was adopted at 16 months of age, so the concept of adoption has always held a special place in his heart.

We aspired to have a big family, but Kelly was experiencing challenges with infertility. Following three cycles of IVF, we were blessed with a baby boy, but Kelly underwent a total hysterectomy during delivery and was no longer able to have children. Through two years of nurturing our little boy, we have validated our enjoyment of parenthood, have hearts that are big enough to love and care for another child, and eager to grow our family through adoption.

We are committed to providing your child with a loving, supportive, and stable home filled with warmth, laughter, and opportunities for growth. We are at a place in our careers where we’re able to work part time and spend time more time with friends and family going on adventures. We’re financially stable and have the room in our home and hearts for another child. We hope that you feel supported and loved no matter where you are in your journey, and we would be honored to be considered as the adoptive parents for your baby and be a part of your story.

About Us

THIS IS US

Kelly grew up in Texas, whereas Virgil moved to Texas for work in 2018. We met through a shared passion for golf, with Kelly in the early stages of learning and Virgil, an experienced golfer since youth, offering guidance and free lessons. Our personalities, core values, and hobbies proved to be highly compatible, prompting us to make a long-term commitment to each other and tie the knot shortly thereafter. We are having the most enjoyable experience of our lives and have proven to grow stronger with each passing day. Our dream is to grow old together while always being present to support and commemorate every milestone of our children. We seek to establish a strong foundation for our children’s future by teaching them swimming and taekwondo as a means of self-defense. Our goal is to raise our children in an environment with limited technological interference, focusing on an active lifestyle that incorporates sports, family activities, and positive reinforcement.

ABOUT VIRGIL: Virgil earned two undergraduate degrees, a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management along with a Master of Business Management (MBA) in Finance. He has worked diligently throughout his career and currently holds an executive position at a large and reputable financial company. On a personal level, he is a devoted husband, father, brother, and friend. Even when he comes home drained from a business trip, he continues to muster his energy to play with his child and provide assistance to Kelly with household tasks. He has immense regard for his wife and kids, and their wellbeing and happiness are his utmost priority.

ABOUT KELLY: Kelly received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and achieved great success in her career. She possesses a compassionate nature and a deep-seated desire to become a mother, prompting her to resign from her position as a Director of Engineering at a prominent national firm to devote herself fully to motherhood. Being a naturally driven and self-sufficient individual, she continued working part-time from home to maintain her industry skillsets while spending more time with her child(ren). Kelly has a passion for golf, listening to music, baking, and photography.

Life is an adventure best traveled together

Spending time together is the highlight of our days. On nice days, we enjoy a wagon walk around the neighborhood or taking our son to the golf driving range to hit balls.

We love showing our kid the world and have been traveling on average nine times a year. Throughout our travels, we have developed a profound appreciation for exploration, having visited iconic sites such as the Grand Canyon and Antelope in Arizona, Glass Beach in California, New England for fall foliage, Alaska for aurora borealis. Our fondness for beaches has also led us to the Cayman Islands, Punta Cana, and Florida. Our most recent trips were to South Korea, London, and Paris.

Kelly consistently finds ways to keep the family active within the community when not traveling.

Our Family

We enjoy celebrating every birthday and holiday and seizing every opportunity to be festive. Kelly values holiday traditions and would extensively cook and bake for all holidays, particularly Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. We aim to continue our travel journey, enriching our children’s lives by exposing them to the world, broadening their perspectives, and fostering a deeper appreciation for diverse cultures.

FAMILY IS EVERYTHING

Both Virgil and Kelly have a small family, but we share a close bond. Virgil, along with two older biological siblings were adopted by the same parents. Given their personal experience of being adopted at a young age, they have a deep appreciation for adoption and are very supportive of Virgil and Kelly throughout their adoption journey. Kelly came from a small family of four, consisting of parents and an older sister, who is married and has two children. Kelly enjoys a close relationship with her family and cared for her niece and nephew when they were babies. Although we reside a few hours away from them, we sustain a strong bond by engaging in regular joint trips and reciprocal visits. They too, have been a big supporter on our adoption journey. In addition to our families, we have a network of friends with young children, sharing common interests and engaging in kid-friendly activities such as playdates, zoo visits, trick-or-treating, etc.

Our Home

HOME SWEET HOME

The location of our house was carefully selected to be near one of the top schools in the state. It’s a 4,500 sqft home with 4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, 1 home gym, 2 living rooms, 1 dining room, 1 kitchen, 1 kid play area, and a good size backyard with a patio deck.
